impose a wealth tax on

tax vacant property

scrap the Trident missile system

  2. Hi, I believe one of the issues of interest to voters is the funding of schools in the North Devon area. Where does the CP stand on this funding issue and if we were to campaign for a similar level of funding as City Acadamies how would we justify that campaigning; if one is to believe that the costs of running rural schools is less than those in the 'City'?

  3. An excellent question. Devon school students are among the poorest resourced in terms of cash spent per child in the country - currently 3rd from bottom and this has been the case for decades. Generations of Devonians could have had a better chance than they did. Last year when communist candidate stood in the county elections he referred to this.
